Fantastic resort. We were there early in the season, so it was not at all crowded – plenty of spaces on all the slopes, especially the blues and blacks. Great snow coverage for early in the season this year. Ski in ski out of our lodge was so easy, good variety of slopes and nice staff at all lifts and restaurants etc.. The shape of the mountain and valley of Falls means it holds snow for longer, so there's more snow cover, that's very important for a ski resort in Australia. The night-life is brilliant and you could be forgiven for thinking it's the cosiest location in Australia during winter (not to mention skin-ski-out). Fantastic resort. Considering it's in Australia. Always enough snow by August to ensure a great trip. Accommodation is very expensive, but the village has a great atmosphere. Elk do an amazing breakfast. Even if you're staying off the mountain, come early to have breakfast at Elk.... More
