Pros
- Legendary expert terrain
- Excellent ski and snowboard school with great beginner slopes
- Great value
Cons
- No lodging at the mountain
Overall
Bridger Bowl isn’t fancy but it's super fun. This community-owned Montana ski area is just 14 mi from the cool cowboy town of Bozeman, and an hour from Big Sky Resort.
Bridger has an earthy local vibe, but also some kick butt Montana mountain terrain. With 2,000 ac on the East slope of the Bridger Mountain range, skiers get beautiful scenery of the Yellowstone River and the Crazy Mountains (ask a local about the Native American crazy folklore).

Bridger Bowl is my local ski resort that I've grown up on in Bozeman, MT. It's a great all around resort. Fantastic snow, breathtaking views, runs for all ski levels and the nicest people. Bozeman is a great ski town with a lot of amenities. I would highly recommend Bridger Bowl and Montana skiing to anyone.... Moreadvanced skier

A great powdery place for a few days in central Montana. Combine Bridger with snowshoeing the geysers in Yellowstone Park and snowmobiling your head off in West Yellowstone, all within an hour of Bozeman, and your Bozeman/Bridger trip turns into a winter vacation. Bozeman has a major airport and trendy ranch-themed brew pubs filled with U of M... Moreintermediate skier

Awesome ski area. If you're looking for a value place to ski without all of the extras, this is your place. Easy flight into Bozeman, and if you want a day at Big Sky, it's less than an hour away. Bridger has no lift lines, great conditions for a ski area, and a great variety of slopes. ... Moreadvanced skier
