Overall
Roughly an hour's drive from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Seven Springs has as much to offer on the slopes as it does off the mountain. Being in the East, the snow conditions can be lacking but when the snow gods deliver, the mostly mellow terrain, and some more difficult spots can provide plenty of fun. After a day on the slopes, be sure to grab a drink at Foggle Goggle!

The best resort in western pa, and maybe the best across the whole state. Large for a PA resort, with limited back country access. It is better than many resorts found on the east coast, of the same latitude.... Moreintermediate snowboarder

Good park terrain but overpriced lift tickets and season passes. The resort is about 1.5 hours from pittsburgh airport and about 30 minutes from latrobe airport. Over night stay prices can be a bit high also.... Moreexpert snowboarder

Great selection of intermediate runs and variety, but few expert runs. Base lodge can get very busy. Snow can get very icy late in the season, but the groomed runs are great all season long.... Moreintermediate snowboarder

A great family vacation for east coast mountains, this place and snowshoe are probably the closest thing you can get to an actual big mountain on the east unless you go up past NY.... Moreintermediate snowboarder

A little pricey for how small the mountain is, the food isn’t very good. But it’s where I learned to snowboard and I always have fun when I go. They have some good freestyle parks too.... Moreintermediate snowboarder

Amazing parks and entertaining slopes for the masses. only complaint is that in several of my visits, some sections of the hill were unavailable, never seen a good amount of lifts open... Moreadvanced snowboarder

This place is awesome. Had a great time and it's very family friendly. Go to the foggy goggle without the kids and grab some brews and the large nachos. Cheers. ... Moreadvanced skier

This place is really the best resort in the greater Pittsburgh area. When it's a good year of snow, there really is a lot of versatility in the runs you can choose. You'll even find a fair amount of tree routes. Powder is lacking but it's the east coast, what're you gonna do? ... Moreadvanced skier

Be an avid rider anywhere in the country and you have more than likely have heard of Seven Springs. Largest resort in PA and pretty fun, expect some crowds and out west prices though. Great parks which is pretty much what you are wanting to look for in most Eastern area resorts. ... Moreexpert snowboarder

The home resort. This is a good resort to hone your skills. It is overpriced for what you get. This is the best resort within local proximity to Pittsburgh, and hour away so the area tends to get crowded on weekends. The snow quality is pretty poor unless it's no within 24 hours because their snow makers are more on the side of ice makers, they... Moreexpert snowboarder
