Learn more about Solitude
Overall
Classic boutique resort with a convenient luxury ski village just steps from the lifts, that's what you find at Solitude Mountain Resort. And as the name implies, you won't find a lot of skiers - you will discover fabulous un-crowded big mountain skiing to offset the "small" mountain resort feel at the base. Deer Valley has purchased Solitude and has replaced the Summit Quad with an Express lift, accessing the sweet snowy terrain in Honeycomb Canyon. There will be more Deer Valley touches to come, like upgrading the lodging and food service to this lesser known ski resort with big powder and huge potential.

Great resort for everything.
Lots of terrain options.
Easy to get to but on a good snow day, weekend or Holiday's it's crazy busy.
If you can get away from the base lifts it's not as busy though.... Moreadvanced skier

The difficulty of the runs cater to intermediate-advanced skiers but they are not as challenging as nearby Alta/Snowbird. The tree/glade runs were fun. They had lots of powder even in late March and early April.... Moreadvanced snowboarder

A great mountain for the family, never crowded. It's on the smaller side, but there is always room to explore. There are trails at all difficulty levels. Honeycomb canyon has some of the best snow! Most of the staff are really kind and pleasant as well.... Moreadvanced skier

Solitude is an underrated gem in Big Cottonwood Canyon. I have been skiing SLC for over decade and, until 2-3 years ago, almost exclusively went to Alta (also amazing). On a more budget-minded, I found that Solitude tickets were ~60% the price of other nearby resorts so I gave it a go. It was suburb! Honeycomb canyon has amazing bowls and... Moreexpert skier

This resort is great for families and all levels of skiers. It has a few double diamonds for the advanced skiers. Accessibility is great from Salt Lake City. Lessons for beginners are great as well.
Dining options are decent.... Moreintermediate snowboarder

This place is my favorite hidden gem. The terrain is as good as Brighton Alta and Snowbird, yet, no crowds. Literally you are on and off lifts with almost zero wait! It’s luxury mixed with practicality and no crowds!... Moreexpert snowboarder

Best resort in Utah. Great tailgating. No lines. Can board all day finding stashes of pow days after storm. Honeycomb area can great especially with short hikes right from Summit lift.... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Excelente opción. Buen precio, nieve, servicios, pocas filas. Accesible y muy buena atención de todo el personal.
por mejorar:
El "Magic Carpet" es excesivamente corto, resulta inútil, los novatos necesitan al menos el pase del lift "Link" para tener algo de práctica.... Moreintermediate skier

It is not a bad place. I personally prefer Brighton due to the terrain diversity. However, this is a great place for a powder day due to the wide open runs. It is relatively uncrowded compared to other resorts in part due to limited parking.... Moreintermediate skier

Some of the best skiing ever. Short lines, different terrain, super friendly staff easy parking. The last time I skied there was easily one of the top 3 days I've ever had on a mountain. Must check it out!... Moreadvanced skier
