Ski it if you can! Mad River is our most favorite east coast skiing. You’re just driving along a windy country road and there’s a single chair lift that comes in to view. It’s usually not crowded and love that they don’t allow snowboards.... Moreadvanced skier

Mad River Glen! Ski it if you can! Even with that slogan this mountain is designed to cater around the family taking a ski day. It's got everything for anyone, from the first timer to the seasoned vet. Mad River Glen will be sure to satisfy all of your ski trip desires. Though you won't find the extravagant shops and restaurants as in other resorts... Moreadvanced skier

Awesome throw-back mountain. When the conditions are right, this one is tough to beat. No frills but just down right good skiing. People are friendly and since it is up north and off the beaten path a bit the crowds are minimal.Superb!5 / 5Nov 12, 2011

Steeps are never groomed and the woods are always open so you get a more traditional ski experience.Superb!5 / 5Dec 20, 2010

Between the natural snow, the challenging and gladed terrain, the relaxed attitude and the type of skier's it attracts (skills, not show), it can't be beat!Superb!5 / 5Jul 27, 2009

It's the most uniquie ski resort on the east cost. It sets itslef apart with extreme train and old school infrastructure. I hope they don't change a thing.Superb!5 / 5Jul 13, 2009
