Stratton Mountain is a gem and a fantastic mountain for those traveling from south of Vermont. Stratton has an excellent, clean resort area at the base of the mountain and overcrowding is hardly ever an issue. Stratton is my new favorite place to go. It’s only a little over 2 hours away from me and it has some amazing terrain. The glades and groomers are always fire. For the northeast one of the better spots. Love the scenery and the trails are beautifully appointed with great mature trees. Also provides some of the better free skiing in the northeast.
