Greg Burke’s forever ski habit was launched at age 3. By age 18 he was a ski Instructor under Austrian Olympic Gold Medalist Egon Zimmerman at Gunstock in New Hampshire. In 1980 Greg was a ski bum at Snowbird Utah for a season. Greg graduated from CU Boulder as a commercial recreation management major with a dream to someday run a ski resort.

Greg’s illustrious ski biz career included everything from snowmaking to marketing at Smugglers Notch, Sugarbush, and Waterville Valley, he knows skiing inside and out, up and downhill so to speak. Today he captures his love of the downhill sport in photojournalism and videography.

Greg’s photos have been published nationwide. He’s an original co-founder of, and chief photographer of and, and is the key contributor of the majority of ski images on SnowPak. Greg travels the globe with his camera, and his wife/ ski writer and favorite model Heather. Together they review and photograph the best ski resorts in the US, East and West, Canada and the Alps. Greg works hard to capture each resort’s essence with his images and his favorite photo moments are on powder days, mornings on the mountain when the light and snow are inimitable right.
